BIG Item of Discussion: Your Booth Questions, Answered

Last month, BIG unveiled something, well, big: Stream Booth Certification. It was a hot topic at Ignition, and has quickly proved to be a unique tool every Associate should consider.

Now, not everyone was so fortunate as to attend Ignition. Some of you might still be asking, “What’s a booth?” The answer is easy: a booth is any table, kiosk, stall, stand, or temporary tent or structure that represents Stream in public.

The process is equally as simple. From start to finish, all you need to do to run your booth is:

  1. Complete Booth Certification – Get equipped with the formal training, and succeed on our Certification Quiz, guaranteeing you have this down.
  2. Register for an Event Booth – This one is a two-step process. First, you’ll need to submit your registration form, and then you’ll need to complete any state-specific training.
  3. Do It BIG on the Day of the Event – When the day comes to represent Stream with your booth, do us proud. Consult your state checklist ahead of time, as well as throughout the day to refresh yourself, and be prepared to answer questions.

For those of you not up to date on this new option, there’s been a fair amount of curiosity and questions. We think this post should clear things up. Here are the top questions BIG has received since program launch, as well as their answers:

Q: Can I register for a recurring event?

A: Not at this time. We hope to make this available in the future as the program grows.

Q: Why do I have to register for every event?

A: Not only are there regulatory requirements, but you never know when another Associate may have reserved the same event that you’re planning on attending.

Q: I have an event that is several months away, when should I submit my registration form?

A: As soon as possible. All event registration requests are considered on a first come first served basis, so the sooner you submit your request the higher chance you are the first request.

Q: How far in advance do I need to submit my registration form?

A: We need you to register at least four weeks in advance.

Q: Why do I have to submit my registration so far in advance?

A: First, BIG must review the event information to verify that no other Associates have registered for the event. Then, BIG completes state-specific training with each Associate over the phone.

Finally, Field Development will help you reserve your booth marketing bundle rental. Shipping times may vary, and we want you to have your materials in plenty of time!
